DC Solar Trailer Servicing in Northern California

DC Solar Trailer Owners:
The trailers can be a relatively complex piece of equipment and should be serviced by a professional.

There are around 6,000 DC Solar trailers in circulation that have been sold at auctions all across the United States. Most of them are on average 6-10 years old.

Many of these trailers were stored for a few years with completely discharged batteries prior to being sold at auction - in most circumstances this has caused damage to the batteries that will become more obvious as the batteries age. This affects the performance, and can cause the trailers to become practically unusable.

Don't let this expensive piece of equipment become a continuously depreciating asset. I have personally repaired and put back in service entire fleets of DC Solar Trailers and I can do the same with yours.

Custom Home Battery Towers
This is our flagship indoor battery model, the Iron Cowboy PowerTower45. Modular construction with a futuristic design and a modest footprint, this battery will add a serious amount of storage as a part of your home microgrid.

Introducing the "Big Rig"
A massive, 46 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery bank contained in a weatherproof, insulated, and climate controlled 60" container. Designed to be as rugged as possible, this battery is tailor made to withstand the constant extremes of being outside. It's versatile enough be used in closed-loop home solar systems, as well as be direct drop-in replacements for the lead-acid batteries that come stock on DC Solar Trailers.

About Me

My name is Seth, and I am a licensed solar contractor based in Butte Valley, California, specializing in advanced microgrid and hybrid power systems. I bring many years of hands-on experience in the electrical field, with a background that spans commercial and residential electrical and solar installations, industrial battery systems, and applied electrical engineering.

Before entering the electrical and solar industry, I worked as an automotive technician, which shaped my approach to diagnostics, system integration, and reliability under real-world conditions. That foundation continues to influence how I design and build energy systems today: practical, resilient, and engineered to perform.

Following major policy changes in California’s solar market in 2023, I made a deliberate shift away from large, standardized solar projects and toward highly specialized work. Rather than focusing on scale for its own sake, I now concentrate on complex systems that demand careful design, deep technical understanding, and thoughtful problem-solving. My work centers on microgrids, battery-based systems, generator integration, and off-grid or mission-critical power solutions.

I enjoy the challenge of solving difficult technical problems and building systems that work when they matter most. Outside of client work, I continue to refine my skills with a love of building computer systems and working with gas and diesel engines, pursuits that reinforce the same principles of systems thinking, troubleshooting, and precision that define my professional work
